We appreciate your interest in Compress Shield.  Please find enclosed four documents related to the positive energy saving effects Compress Shield has on Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration systems.  Compress Shield is effective in reducing actual electrical usage (kWH), demand charges, and maintenance costs.

Document 1:  A & J Produce, NY - The data is the actual electric bills from the facility. Of the seven buildings used by A&J, six were treated with Compress Shield and a seventh was not. The six buildings that were treated combined for a seven month savings of over $27,000 (the ROI was less than 3 months). The seventh building is referred to as “meter #25” or “Havana Building”.  It was untreated and had increased utility costs of $3,993 during the same period.

Document 2:  Walk-in Cooler, St. Paul, MN - This one page graph “Reduced Peak Demand” demonstrates how the reduction in friction reduces demand particularly on start-up.

Document 3: St. Thomas Aquinas School, FL - This demonstration explains how there are kW reductions after treatment with Compress Shield. The first reason is a drop in amperage which saves electricity when the unit operates.  The second is a drop in discharge temperature which allows the space to be cooled faster.  Thus, the room temperature reaches the set point on the thermostat sooner which turns off the unit.  This reduced run time results in the bulk of the electricity savings.

Document 4: Ecaps report – This is a Department of Energy/Florida Energy Office test that confirmed tremendous efficiency increases are also produced on large centrifugal chillers when treated with Compress Shield.

Fedders Islandaire, after testing and field trials, determined the value of not only increased efficiency but superior mechanical protection inside the system, which reduces warranty expenses and maintenance problems. They are installing Compress Shield in all the equipment they manufacture.
